"Worship in Pink" day at Savannah Bahá'í Unity Center, Oct 8, 2011

We just wanted to share some of our photos from our "Worship in Pink" day at the Savannah Bahá'í Unity Center on Waters Ave. Please click below to see them and for additional information about the event.

Members of the Bahá'í Faith joined together on Sunday, October 8, 2011 to learn about breast cancer awareness, celebrate survivors, and remember those taken from us by this disease. Our speakers were Mrs. Marylyn Harrison, breast cancer survivor from Sun City, and Dr. Ray Rudolph, breast surgeon. Lighting of memorial and honor candles was a moving part of the ceremony which included prayers for healing in addition to breast cancer awareness information. Please see photos below.
